About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Information Technology to join our team at iTech Post. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in guiding our IT strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of our digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multi-disciplinary project teams, including staff with expertise in IT delivery, data, programming, development, and project management.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to execute projects that meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify and locate resources through hiring, recruiting, consultants, and internal resources to execute digital and IT-focused programs and projects.
  • Lead the overall strategy, design, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing systems, including researching new technologies and conducting feasibility studies.
  • Provide advice on digital solutions and technical approaches to accomplish project objectives.
  • Ensure systems are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the business requirements for gathering, development, maintenance, testing, documentation, and deployment process.
  • Develop a detailed solution roadmap and project plans to track progress and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Manage the relationship with clients and all stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of processes and procedures that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the team's operations.
  • Contribute to developing a pipeline of proposal opportunities for the division.
  • Actively promote the company and the division by contributing to recruiting, participating in networking events, and presenting at professional meetings.
  • Contribute to divisional leadership by contributing to division priorities and goal setting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related field.
  • 9 years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of government contracting experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft systems, including MS365 and Azure Active Directory.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.
  • Working knowledge of Power Platform.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact, communicate, collaborate, and work well with individuals and groups at all levels.
  • Deep knowledge of IT-related security, privacy, and accessibility laws that impact government contractors.
  • Ability to handle requests on short timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CMMI and ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of CMMC and NIST.
  • Experience with assessing and understanding information security requirements from a contract terms and conditions perspective.
  • Knowledge of FutureFeed.
  • Experience working in a small business environment.
