Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at STEAMspark Montessori Experience. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Accreditation: Manage compliance reporting and support school accreditation efforts to maintain our esteemed status as a Verified School by the American Montessori Society and Candidate for Accreditation with NCA CASI, NWAC, and SACS CASI.
  • Scheduling and Payroll: Create and update work schedules based on staffing needs and assist with payroll, billing, and invoicing to ensure timely and accurate payment to our staff.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including answering calls, scheduling meetings, and welcoming visitors to our school.
  • Office Management: Maintain and organize student and employee files, perform routine office tasks such as filing, typing, copying, and scanning, and ensure office equipment is maintained and coordinated repairs as needed.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Communicate professionally via phone, email, and mail, and provide exceptional customer service to our students, parents, and staff.
  • Office Supplies and Inventory: Manage office supplies, including ordering and inventory control, to ensure our school has the necessary resources to function efficiently.
  • Team Support: Support the team in achieving goals and complete other tasks as assigned by Leadership to ensure the success of our school.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates Degree required, Undergraduate Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of administrative assistant experience.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, demonstrated proficiency and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat, ability to complete assignments with general supervision, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records, demonstrated organizational, prioritization, communication, customer service, supervision, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position.
