Job Title: Transactional Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transactional Paralegal to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and attorneys in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including contracts and agreements, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough legal research related to transactions, including statutes and case law, to provide informed guidance to clients and attorneys.
  • Assist in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and real estate transactions, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Organize and maintain transaction files, ensuring accessibility and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
  • Prepare for transaction closings, including coordinating logistics and documents, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout the transaction process, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Manage timelines and deadlines for various transactions, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
  • Assist with financial due diligence by reviewing financial statements and projections, providing valuable insights to clients and attorneys.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in transactional work, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a larger team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide informed solutions.
