Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Account Representative to join our team at BB BHF STORES LLC. As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, satisfying company collection and revenue standards, and performing inside sales and outside collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire and Maintain Customers: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Basic Furniture, Appliance, and Home Electronic Installation/Removal: Ensure timely and efficient installation and removal of merchandise, meeting customer expectations and company standards.
  • Compliance with Company Vehicle Safety Standards: Maintain a safe and clean company vehicle, adhering to all safety protocols and documentation requirements.
  • Credit/Customer Relationship Management: Manage customer payments and data entry in our computer program, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Fill out Receipt Books and Make Journal Entries: Accurately record customer transactions and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Inbound/Outbound Service Calls: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Making Deliveries or Collecting Merchandise: Safely transport merchandise to and from customers, ensuring timely delivery and collection.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Promote and sell merchandise to customers, meeting sales targets and company expectations.
Requirements
  • Excellent Telephone Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Intermediate Math Skills: Demonstrate basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process customer transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain Professional Appearance: Present a professional image, adhering to company dress code and grooming standards.
  • Must be Able to Drive During Day, Night, and Meet All Safety Requirements: Possess a valid driver's license and meet all company safety requirements.
  • Must be Able to Explain Terms of Rental/Lease Agreement to Customer: Clearly communicate rental and lease agreements to customers, ensuring understanding and satisfaction.
  • Must be Able to Read, Write, and Communicate Effectively in Person and Over Telephone: Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Must be Able to Work Overtime: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as business dictates.
  • Must be Proficient in Product Features and Benefits: Possess knowledge of product features and benefits, with the ability to effectively communicate to customers.
  • Must be Able to Work on Showroom Floor: Ability to work in a fast-paced showroom environment, interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Must Have Proficient Navigational Skills with a Satisfactory Driving Record and Meet Insurability Requirements: Possess a valid driver's license and meet all company safety requirements.
  • Regular and Consistent Attendance: Maintain regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends, as business dictates.
General Physical Requirements
  • Position Routinely Requires Lifting, Loading, Moving, and Using a Dolly for Merchandise Pounds: Ability to lift, load, and move merchandise, with or without assistance.
  • Stooping, Bending, Pulling, Climbing, Reaching, and Grabbing as Required: Ability to perform physical tasks, with or without assistance.
  • Must be Able to Traverse Multiple Flights of Stairs While Carrying Furniture, Appliance, and Electronics: Ability to safely navigate stairs while carrying merchandise.
  • Prolonged Driving and Standing: Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, with or without assistance.
  • Must be Able to Work in and Outdoors in a Variety of Climates and Weather Conditions: Ability to work in various environments, with or without assistance.
