About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Coordinator to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and comfortable operation of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Provide general building/facility systems maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Service Call Management: Prioritize and manage service calls, ensuring timely completion and follow-up under the direction of the facility supervisor.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and completion of tasks, maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Minor Construction Projects: Perform minor construction projects as required, working closely with the facility supervisor to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment, identifying and reporting any unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock and inventory control, ensuring that all necessary materials and supplies are available when needed.
  • Leadership and Training: Act as a lead for multi-technician markets or work unsupervised in a single-technician market, providing structured training sessions to other technicians as required.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform all other related duties as assigned by the facility supervisor.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in building maintenance or 5+ years of experience in building maintenance with a technical school degree.
  • Driver's License: Proven current driver's license in the applicable state.
  • Transportation: Proven access to reliable transportation.
  • Customer Service: Proven excellent customer service skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Proven basic computer literacy skills.
  • Work Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize various work orders.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrated ability and willingness to work irregular work hours on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical Experience: 5+ years of related experience in a medical setting.
