Job Title: Pre-Release Therapist

Job Summary:

The Lee Group is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Release Therapist to join our team. As a Pre-Release Therapist, you will be responsible for engaging participants in our Re-entry program, conducting manualized 1:1 and group sessions, and facilitating, evaluating, and refining the Participant's Life Plan within a correctional facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 1:1 and group sessions with participants, utilizing manualized interventions and best practices for treatment.
  • Review assessments and snapshots prior to conducting sessions, and prepare necessary materials in advance.
  • Ensure the quality and fidelity of Concordance Re-entry Model content and approaches when delivering training in both 1:1 and group settings.
  • Document sessions, including case notes and participant progress, using the CAPS participant system.
  • Communicate with team members, including Enrollment and Pre-Release Administrator, to ensure participant success and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of one year of post-master's experience with mental health, dually diagnosed, or vulnerable or high-risk populations.
  • Minimum of one-year experience working in substance use treatment.
  • Experience conducting open groups and/or manualized group treatment sessions.
  • LCSW, LPC, or another related clinical licensure.

Working Conditions:

  • This position works in a correctional facility and may require travel between facilities and The Lee Group.
  • May work evenings, weekends, or outside core hours.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit and stand for a reasonable length of time delivering interventions and entering data.
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, walk, and sit.
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Resilient: Works well with oppositional/reluctant participants within the constraints of a correctional facility.
