Job Description

Medical Temporaries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Post-Release Therapist to support participants on their healing journey. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in mental health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Employ the healing-first approach to help participants create and achieve goals in their treatment plans.
  • Conduct 1:1 and group sessions with participants.
  • Provide frequent, supportive communications to participants throughout post-release phases.
  • Update participants' objectives and goals.
  • Use assessments to confirm treatment plans.
  • Prepare for sessions in advance.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience working in mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, behavioral health, or related field.
  • Clinical license.
  • Familiarity with and endorsement of 12-step program, and equal experience with traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions.
  • Ability to travel to locations that can be 15 hours to 2 hours depending on traffic from main office location.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPR/Adult First Aid certification.
  • Justice Involved population experience.
