Front Desk Manager

The 3232 Hotel LLC is a boutique hotel in Manhattan seeking an experienced Front Desk Agent to join our team on a full-time basis.
As a certified Fire and Life Safety Director, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and security during your overnight shift from midnight to 8am. Your primary objective is to create a welcoming environment, provide exceptional customer service, and handle all guest-related concerns efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage the front desk operations, monitoring the area at all times and recording guest entries.
- Assign rooms based on reservation details and inform guests about available hotel services.
- Respond promptly to and document all guest inquiries and requests.
- Process incoming calls, providing information about the hotel's current availability.
- Update guest folios for additional charges, cancellations, or changes to reservations.
- Accommodate walk-in guests, charging them accordingly for available rooms.
- Verify credit information before allowing check-in.
- Track and respond to guest requests using our internal system.
- Certification as a building Fire Safety Director by the FDNY.
- Ability to take on-site exams for FLSD certification and train others on safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Comfortable learning and working with cloud-based hotel management software.
- Previous experience in a front desk position or comparable customer service role.
- Bonus points for fluency in a secondary language (Spanish, French, etc.).
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
