Position Title: Practice Manager

Position Summary
The Practice Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and management of the designated facility under the guidance of the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Assists in formulating the office operating budget, ensuring adherence to financial constraints. Implements corrective measures to align costs with practice goals and maintains inventory control while managing facility assets responsibly.
- Human Resources Management: Ensures payroll accuracy and timely processing. Engages in recruitment and onboarding processes to foster employee engagement and productivity. Conducts regular staff interactions to promote a positive work environment.
- Information Systems Management: Utilizes billing systems effectively and ensures compliance with privacy laws. Participates in audits to mitigate organizational risk and optimize information technology resources.
- Leadership: Provides operational leadership that fosters a positive organizational culture. Communicates effectively and maintains strong relationships across the organization to inspire collaboration and goal achievement.
- Clinical Care Management: Promotes exceptional patient relations and empowers staff to implement effective service recovery strategies. Engages in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
- Facility Oversight: Conducts safety inspections and monitors the work environment for potential hazards. Participates in emergency preparedness activities and ensures compliance with safety protocols.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Coordinates with the Billing Department to manage accounts receivable activities and implements financial best practices.
- Miscellaneous Management Duties: Explores innovative approaches to patient care delivery and fosters positive public relations.
- Actively engages in quality improvement initiatives and other assigned tasks.
Educational Qualifications
An Associate's degree in business administration is required, along with two years of experience in medical practice management. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or a combination of experience and training that demonstrates the necessary skills and abilities.
- Four years of experience in healthcare leadership.
- Proven ability to build relationships with physicians.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in various software applications.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to motivate others.
Skills Required
- Strong leadership and analytical skills, along with proficiency in computer applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills.
Special Requirements
Must be able to perform a full range of motion, including manual dexterity. The role requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and work under varying conditions.
