Position Summary
The Practice Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and management of the designated facility under the guidance of the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Collaborate in creating the office operating budget and ensure adherence to financial constraints. Implement corrective measures to align expenses with practice goals. Maintain inventory management and facilitate procurement in line with established protocols. Manage facility assets responsibly and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Human Resources Management: Ensure payroll accuracy and timely approvals. Conduct interviews and facilitate the hiring process to ensure effective staffing. Lead onboarding and orientation sessions to enhance employee engagement. Regularly interact with staff and providers to foster a collaborative environment.
- Information Systems Management: Utilize billing systems effectively and ensure optimal use of communication technologies. Uphold compliance with privacy regulations and organizational policies regarding health information management.
- Leadership: Provide operational leadership that fosters a positive organizational culture. Communicate effectively across various platforms and maintain strong relationships with staff and physicians.
- Clinical Care Oversight: Promote positive patient relations and empower staff to utilize effective service recovery strategies. Develop care delivery processes that align with the organization's commitment to healing.
- Facility Management: Ensure safety and security within the facility through regular inspections and emergency preparedness activities. Oversee maintenance and repair of physical assets.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Train staff on financial assistance practices and coordinate with the billing department to ensure efficient accounts receivable processes.
- Additional Responsibilities: Explore innovative approaches to patient care delivery and maintain positive public relations.
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives.

Educational Qualifications
An Associate's degree in business administration is required, along with two years of experience in medical practice management.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or a combination of experience and training that demonstrates the necessary skills.
- A minimum of four years of leadership experience in healthcare is required.
- Experience in building relationships with physicians is essential.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets, is necessary.
Skills Required
- Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
Special Requirements
