Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to manage all electrical, communications, and fire alarm design projects within our MEP/IC group at TYLin International.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Electrical contract drawing and specification production for various project types, including water and wastewater treatment plants, odor control systems, and others.
  • Conceptual design development, electrical field troubleshooting, and electrical systems cost estimating.
  • Staff development, project profitability tracking, and management of project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Internal and external client management, electrical coordination with other disciplines, and electrical design cost estimating.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Professional Engineer registration is required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical design, related energy design, and electrical project management.
  • Prior experience in wastewater and water treatment facilities is highly preferred.
  • Experience in commercial or industrial and low voltage power distribution design is required.
  • Past experience in project management and/or group leadership is necessary.
  • Good working knowledge of low voltage electrical distribution, medium voltage electrical distribution, motor control, variable speed drives, control schematics, lighting design, fire alarm, access control, electrical codes, and standards.
