Job Title: Preconstruction Project Manager

About the Role:
RMT Construction & Development Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing bids for construction projects and working closely with our Preconstruction and Project Management teams to facilitate project success. You will also be responsible for staying up to date with safety codes and improvements in construction.

About You:
We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a strong background in commercial estimating. You must have excellent math skills, ability to navigate specifications and plans, and proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects. Additionally, you should possess a thorough knowledge of construction procedures and sequence, as well as estimating techniques and subcontractor buyouts.

Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
* Complete detailed take-offs
* Possess vast knowledge of MEP trades
* Work closely with owners, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and staff
* Maintain cost keys and price masters by updating information
* Prepare construction budget by studying plans, specifications, and subcontractor estimates
* Work closely with the business development team to locate and review new opportunities
* Write up and present budgets, reports, and project plans
* Develop bids for construction projects
* Navigate and understand building codes
* Stay up to date with safety codes and improvements in construction

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
