Agile Project Lead

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Lead to join our team at Integrated Resources. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in Agile project management and lead high-profile projects from initiation to delivery.
About the Role
The Agile Project Lead will be responsible for driving consistent project delivery through the entire project lifecycle, including project plans, release plans, resource allocation, and management of project risks, Product, schedule, and delivery of value. You will coordinate Agile Ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, Sprint Demos, Story Refinement, and Release Planning. Additionally, you will track and communicate project progress from a schedule, cost, and risk perspective to the project team, stakeholders, and management.
Responsibilities
- Drive project delivery through effective planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Coordinate Agile Ceremonies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate project progress to stakeholders and management.
- Establish a collaborative environment where teams can thrive.
- Protect teams from external distractions and interruptions.
- Foster strong relationships between teams, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Track and report team velocity and other project metrics.
- Promote continuous improvement and enhance team productivity.
- Support Product Owners and teams with Product backlog management.
- Ensure Agile principles are practiced across teams.
- Adhere to VDOT and VITA project management practices.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models and Agile project management principles.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Ability to work with customers, understand their business practices, and manage expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with Project Management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of Agile collaboration tools, such as Team Foundation Server, JIRA, Version One.
- PMP and CSM Certifications required.
- SAFe Certification preferred.
