Job Summary

This is a full-time position that will provide consulting services for our financial services client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.

About the Role

The Project Manager provides consulting services for infrastructure upgrades, tenant improvements, and interior fit outs for administrative office campuses in Richmond, VA. This role is responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion and requires site visits to Villa Park corporate campus in Richmond, VA and up to 10% out of market travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Interface directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project including scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process.
  • Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing mentorship and direction to achieve goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience and education considered equivalent.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and prior financial services client experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of leases, contracts and construction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
  • Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
