Construction Financial Analyst - Esteemed General Contractor

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review and process invoices for designated projects
  • Ensure accurate monthly billing in accordance with project agreements
  • Reconcile job cost reports and maintain accuracy in financial software
  • Record monthly billing and payables for projects
  • Process payments to subcontractors upon receipt of project funds
  • Monitor subcontractor notices and releases
  • Maintain project contract amounts in financial software
  • Compare project budgets to actual expenditures and address variances
  • Record journal entries as necessary
  • Respond to inquiries from project teams in a timely manner
  • Extract data from financial software and distribute as required
  • Oversee insurance policy management
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable
  • Monitor risk management issues and notify management as appropriate
  • Stay updated on lien regulations across multiple states
  • Communicate effectively within the organization
  • Build and sustain professional relationships
  • Foster a culture of inclusion and respect
  • Uphold a positive company image through actions and communications
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, with experience in construction accounting as an advantage
  • Familiarity with various financial software and tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills
  • Effective communication capabilities
  • Strong time management and punctuality
  • Demonstrates initiative and professionalism
