Operations Director

CT Mechanical, a division of Comfort Temp Company, is a leading mechanical contracting firm dedicated to excellence and integrity. We specialize in delivering comprehensive mechanical solutions for the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
As an Operations Manager, you will oversee the success and execution of various mechanical projects across our branch offices. Your responsibilities will include managing project profitability, forecasting labor needs, and driving operational efficiency in all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assure the branch meets financial goals and maximizes net profit.
- Forecast and manage labor hours and labor needs, providing a 3-month look ahead.
- Develop and manage vendors and subcontractor resources to optimize project outcomes.
- Maintain open communication with clients and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with department heads to streamline project operations.
- Oversee warehouse inventory, deliveries, receiving, and consumable material needs.
- Maintain purchasing procedures and manage fabrication needs efficiently.
- Drive business development opportunities for the branch through effective networking.
- Manage warranty needs and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
- Recruit, manage, and develop field staff, project managers, project coordinators, and fabrication/warehouse personnel.
- Participate in leadership team meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Provide operational solutions for all projects to ensure smooth and efficient branch operations.
- Prioritize tasks and manage project schedules to meet deadlines effectively.
- Report weekly branch performance metrics to the leadership team, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Commercial HVAC/R, Plumbing, or Mechanical Industry.
- At least 5 years of management experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and information.
