As a vital member of the culinary leadership team, the Culinary Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of kitchen operations while fostering a safe and hygienic environment for all staff.
Compensation:
Salary range: $68,000 - $74,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality food items in a cost-effective manner.
- Assist in the planning, ordering, inventory management, and food preparation processes.
- Support cost control measures and manage expenditures effectively.
- Implement new culinary initiatives in collaboration with marketing and culinary teams.
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards are met.
- Motivate, train, and develop back-of-house employees to achieve operational objectives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management, or a related field; or A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts with specialized training.
- 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience.
- Proficiency in various kitchen roles and stations.
- Ability to think creatively and execute culinary tasks efficiently.
- Understanding of food cost management and quality control.
- Familiarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
