Job Overview
FLEX College Prep is on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication abilities to join our team of instructors and teach Biology to middle and high school students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students in both one-on-one and small group settings, focusing on academic coursework, standardized test preparation, and enrichment activities.
- Design and tailor lesson plans and curricula to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring targeted academic assistance.
- Maintain detailed records of student sessions to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their academic aspirations.

Location:
FLEX Cupertino

Most instructional sessions are conducted in-center, with in-home sessions available upon prior agreement with instructors, compensated at a higher rate.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field is required (preferably from a U.S. Top 50 college or university).
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with students and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for education and student development.
- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring high school students is preferred.
- Availability to work some evenings and Saturdays.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal training or experience in education is a plus.
- Ability to teach multiple subjects (e.g., AP Biology, AP Chemistry, ACT Math & Science).
- Familiarity with standardized tests (AP, SAT II, SAT, ACT, etc.) relevant to your subjects.
- Willingness to work at various locations.
