Commercial Insurance Support Associate

The role of the Customer Service Representative at Colorado Prestige Insurance Group involves providing essential support to the Commercial Lines Manager. This position is pivotal in nurturing strong customer relationships by addressing inquiries and concerns with efficiency and professionalism. Daily interactions will include communication with clients, insurance carriers, and team members while executing specific service and marketing tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist existing clients with policy updates, quotes, payment processing, and answering inquiries while providing necessary documentation.
- Handle customer calls and correspondence regarding both new and existing insurance policies, including managing claims during regular and after-hours.
- Engage with new clients or support a producer to identify their needs, gather essential information, research policy options, present alternatives, finalize and bind new coverage, and negotiate with carriers as required.
- Schedule appointments or client calls to review current policies, assess liability limits and exposures, discuss additional coverage needs, evaluate replacement costs, and finalize renewals.
- Provide detailed information about products and services to customers, quote new business, process renewals, manage account cancellations, and facilitate payment transactions.
- Resolve product or service-related issues by clarifying customer concerns, identifying the root cause, selecting the most effective solution, expediting corrections, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Review audits or policies for accuracy and facilitate necessary corrections between clients and carriers.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system.
- Collaborate with team members, mentor junior staff, share expertise, and participate in meetings as needed.
- Obtain licensing for Property, Casualty, and Life Insurance within 90 days of employment.
- Exhibit a strong customer focus and excellent phone etiquette; demonstrate proficient written and verbal communication skills, along with strong mathematical and reading abilities.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, writing) is essential.
- Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while resolving complex customer issues independently.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills and a personal accountability mindset, along with proficiency in technology and computer systems, including agency management software and carrier websites.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
