Job Overview:

The Customer Support Representative at Colorado Prestige Insurance Group will assist the Commercial Lines Manager and is tasked with nurturing strong client relationships by addressing customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally. This role involves daily interactions with clients, insurance providers, and team members while executing specific service and marketing functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver service to current clients concerning policy updates, providing estimates, processing payments, and addressing inquiries while supplying necessary documentation.
  • Respond to customer calls and messages regarding new or existing insurance policies and manage all claims, including regular and after-hours claims.
  • Engage with prospective clients or support a producer to assess their needs, gather essential information, explore policy options, present alternatives, finalize and secure new coverage, cancel outdated policies, and negotiate with carriers as needed.
  • Schedule appointments and/or client calls or assist a producer in reviewing existing policies, assessing liability limits and exposures, discussing additional coverage needs, evaluating replacement costs, rounding out accounts, and securing renewals.
  • Communicate with clients to provide comprehensive information about products and services, quote new business, process renewals and/or cancel accounts, accept payments, and furnish requested documentation.
  • Address product or service issues by clarifying the customer's concern, identifying the root cause, selecting and explaining the most effective solution, expediting corrections or adjustments, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Review audits or policies; confirm accuracy and facilitate necessary corrections between the client and carrier.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system.
  • Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions, and participate in both formal and informal meetings as required.
  • The candidate will be required to obtain licenses for Property, Casualty, and Life Insurance within 90 days of employment.
Qualifications
  • Exhibit a strong customer focus and excellent phone etiquette; demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills along with proficient math and reading abilities to perform calculations.
  • Fluent communication skills in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to manage challenging situations with clients and resolve complex issues independently.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills with a personal accountability mindset, as well as proficiency in technology and computer systems, including learning agency management systems, rating tools, and carrier website navigation.
  • Availability to work Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
