Join Our Team as an Event Operations Leader

The DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC North is seeking an experienced Event Operations Leader to oversee our banquet services. In this role, you will guide the banquet team in delivering exceptional service during various events, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and delegate opening and closing tasks for the banquet team.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all public areas.
  • Collaborate with banquet staff to manage setups, adjustments, and schedules for all events, including greeting guests and ensuring smooth service.
  • Conduct inspections of banquet spaces post-event to confirm all equipment is returned and areas are spotless.
  • Familiarize yourself with the menu for each event, being prepared to discuss key ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the team.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Banquet Supervisor, ideally within a hotel or resort environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with hotel management and guests.
  • Ability to carry up to 30 lbs through busy areas consistently throughout the shift.
  • Capable of working efficiently under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
