This position plays a vital role within the front desk team, welcoming families for their appointments and acting as a bridge between families and the clinical staff. Reporting to the Primary Care Practice Manager, this role collaborates closely with the Lead Clinic Coordinator and Regional Access Specialist to ensure optimal patient experiences.
Essential Job Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Minimum of one year of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Demonstrates behaviors that align with Children's values and support our mission and vision.

Familiarity with medical terminology (assessment to be completed prior to employment), medical software, billing processes, patient scheduling, and office procedures is preferred.

Exhibits strong interpersonal skills to effectively assist patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Possesses good concentration abilities to manage a diverse range of individuals in a dynamic environment and to handle incoming communications efficiently and accurately.

Requires adaptability to prioritize tasks based on the needs of patients, families, healthcare providers, and staff.

Ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing job functions.

May need to stand for prolonged durations and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Willingness to assist and support other primary care locations as directed by leadership and/or the Children's Medical Group float policy.
