Job DescriptionOverview:

Egan Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee our Industrial Controls division. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at transforming challenges into effective solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multiple trades and projects while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints.
  • Provide both technical and managerial support to project teams and field staff.
  • Foster a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with Egan's safety protocols on all projects.
  • Draft scope proposals based on project estimates.
  • Lead projects to achieve and surpass financial and timeline objectives.
  • Identify and resolve challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Procure necessary equipment and materials.
  • Participate in both jobsite and office meetings.
  • Ensure project completion with optimal profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders through high-quality work.
  • Monitor sales activities and predict sales opportunities using CRM tools.
  • Conduct regular visits to job sites and client locations.
Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical industrial controls or related fields.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
  • OSHA-30 certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
  • Experience in electrical installation or system integration is preferred.
Qualifications:
  • Comprehension of electrical design and engineering estimates relevant to food processing and manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation, controls integration, and UL 508A Panel Shop Solutions.
  • Ability to interpret electrical control and power schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills are necessary.
  • Experience in job scheduling and managing customer timelines.
  • Capability to present effectively to various audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn and promote other business areas.
  • Strong negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and independent.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while anticipating changes.
  • Open to learning new concepts and providing solutions in a constructive manner.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in standard office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite applications.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be conducted in various environments including office settings, customer sites, and job sites.
  • Extended periods of standing or sitting may be required.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and outdoor elements is common on job sites, along with physical activities such as climbing and bending.
