Reporting Structure
This role reports directly to the US Country Holding Officer.
Key Responsibilities
ABB is looking for an Administrative Executive Assistant / Project Coordination Specialist to assist the US Country Holding Officer with various administrative and project-related tasks. This position will collaborate closely with key leaders across the US from our headquarters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the primary liaison for the US CHO office, facilitating communication and collaboration with various departments including Legal, Tax, HR, Treasury, Communications, and Information Services.
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to business managers, which includes conducting research, compiling and verifying information, and preparing reports, presentations, and other essential documents.
- Managing internal and external inquiries through phone and email, prioritizing issues, and taking appropriate actions.
- Coordinating critical business events, including travel arrangements, itinerary development, accommodation bookings, and conference registrations.
- Supporting executive-level communications by drafting announcements and company-wide messages.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or project-based role.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential; experience with SAP ERP is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills, analytical abilities, and project management expertise are necessary, along with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and calendar management is advantageous.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in a large, corporate environment, preferably within a global and matrixed organization.
- Applicants must possess valid work authorization to be employed by ABB in the US.
