Position Overview:

As a Branch Sales Associate (part-time, approximately 25 hours per week during first shift weekdays), you will engage with walk-in customers, providing solutions through your expertise, knowledge, and positive demeanor. Your role will involve maximizing sales opportunities, fostering customer loyalty, and surpassing customer expectations. Throughout your day, you will transition between assisting customers and performing various warehouse responsibilities, reporting directly to the Store Manager.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the complete customer experience, including appropriate product selection, accurate order processing, safe product handling, and loading customer vehicles.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance sales and promote customer loyalty.
  • Adjust communication styles to suit various audiences, whether in person, over the phone, or via email.
  • Prepare and organize will-call orders and shipping products.
  • Manage customer backorders and organize incoming stock.
  • Assist with merchandising and showroom restocking.
  • Conduct inventory counts.
  • Learn to navigate various computer systems for customer interactions and warehouse tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization to ensure the branch meets company standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with all operational standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.
Your Qualifications:
  • Flexibility to work within branch operational hours.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance.
  • Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
