Role RequirementsUMortgage is in search of Mortgage Loan Support Specialists who are enthusiastic, sociable, and dedicated to delivering exemplary customer service to enhance our sales team. In this role, you will assist Loan Originators, manage documentation, and engage with clients. Ideal candidates should possess a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills, along with effective prioritization and time management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize all documentation for both new and existing loans, including necessary disclosures.
- Evaluate the loan upon receipt to ensure all borrower information is accurately entered into the Loan Origination System (LOS).
- Document and verify the borrower's loan, property, credit, and financial details for precision.
- Collaborate and maintain proactive communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including:
- Internal: Loan Originators, Underwriters, Processors, Team Leaders, and other team members.
- External: Real Estate Agents, borrowers, title companies, attorneys, homeowners insurance agents, and escrow agents.
- Monitor and document any potential issues for review, such as late payments within the Derogatory Summary.
- Keep borrowers informed with essential updates regarding product selections and pricing, as well as when Dual AUS is executed.
- Provide support and status updates to the Loan Originator and borrowers as required.
- Ensure all necessary closing documentation is complete to facilitate the closing process.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in mortgage operations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and responsible.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Highly motivated and goal-driven.
- Familiarity with systems such as Salesforce, or the capacity to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Experience with VA, FHA, Conventional, and Non-QM loans.
