Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Michaels Stores. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage Store Operations: Supervise and direct Team Members to achieve sales and profit goals, while maintaining a well-merchandised and well-stocked store.
  • Inventory Management: Lead and manage the inventory management processes in store, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Visual Merchandising: Oversee the visual merchandising standards in store and execute feature space and seasonal layouts to create an engaging and attractive shopping environment.
  • Team Management: Hire, train, and evaluate Team Members to achieve results, identify talent, and develop Team Members for advancement.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive an exceptional shopping experience, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 2+ years of retail management leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with Team Members, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible and positive attitude.
