The Production Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of the Tolmar team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to minimize delays and costs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Participate in quality event investigations and contribute to the development of corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance-related policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and operations, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with experience in managing teams and coordinating projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of production equipment and facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR required.
