Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet, including dusting and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and soiled linen in an outside/soiled linen barrel container.
  • Perform additional outside work as assigned, including policing grounds.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow safety precautions when mixing and using cleaning solutions.
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure a sanitary environment.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily without supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies.
