Position Overview:
We are in search of a strategic and highly analytical Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our executive leadership team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis within the fintech industry. This role will be pivotal in shaping our financial strategy, aiding decision-making, and ensuring the organization's financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to inform strategic business decisions.
- Create and maintain financial models to evaluate company performance and identify critical metrics.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations regarding financial performance and strategic initiatives.
- Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, including recruitment, training, and development.
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance internal reporting processes and drive operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
- Engage with the sales team to develop and support Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, commission structures, and sales metrics.
- Examine sales performance data and deliver actionable insights to refine sales strategies and boost revenue growth.
- Develop financial models to project sales performance and evaluate the financial implications of sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A, with a strong preference for experience within the fintech or SaaS sector.
- Demonstrated success in establishing and scaling FP&A functions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools).
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
