Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Tier I NOC Analyst to join our dynamic team in a 24/7 operational environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless functioning of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage network operations, ensuring efficient processing of data across various systems.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and diagnostics of network incidents, accurately logging details and prioritization into our incident management system.
  • Utilize network management tools to oversee alerts and respond to incidents generated through various channels.
  • Provide technical support for WAN and LAN connectivity, including routers, firewalls, and security measures.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of remote access solutions, such as VPN and Citrix.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-tier support teams or service providers to facilitate timely restoration of services.
  • Maintain communication with vendors and stakeholders, providing regular updates on incident statuses.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in routing and switching within an enterprise network operations setting.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and fundamentals.
  • Proficient in using Cisco command line interfaces.
  • Basic understanding of cloud technologies and monitoring systems.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of ITIL service delivery practices.
  • Experience with wireless technologies and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for ticket management.
  • Relevant certifications such as Network+, ITIL Foundations, or Security+ are advantageous.

Work Environment:

This position primarily allows for remote work, with occasional requirements to attend on-site meetings as necessary.
