Corporate Communications Director

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced communications professional to support day-to-day communications activities at Natera. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate communications, with a focus on oncology and women's health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of press releases and media statements, including editing, finalizing, and distribution of such materials
  • Crafting of internal communications documents, such as letters to employees, feature stories, slide presentations, video scripts, and talking points
  • Development of strategic messaging and communications plans on a broad range of topics, including proactive and reactive communications programs
  • Serving as a liaison between communications and business units/executives and other internal stakeholders, including maintaining a calendar of key business events and staying abreast of key activities
  • Assistance in managing relationships with PR firms and other strategic partners
  • Research on various topics to inform key projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to project-manage across multiple verticals
  • Public company experience, either directly in-house or via PR agency, including support of investor relations and the quarterly earnings process
  • Knowledge of genetics and/or healthcare, including the ability to communicate scientific data (not required but preferred)
  • Executive presence and an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to identify areas of opportunity and fill gaps
  • The ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, with at least 7-8 years of experience in communications or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in PowerPoint/Google Slides, and familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms
