Job Title: Communications Manager

The Communications Manager plays a vital role in the smooth operation of the Holy Cross Institute, supporting the execution of its mission and advancing its goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in raising awareness about the Institute's programs and activities through various communication channels.
  • Draft and edit event announcements, web materials, social media entries, and other publicity outreach.
  • Manage event preparation, execution, and follow-up, including scheduling, logistics, vendor coordination, and budget oversight.
  • Support the Executive Director with contract setup, invoice processing, and financial transactions, adhering to Grantors and university guidelines.
  • Reconcile accounts monthly and maintain source documentation for transactions.
  • Contribute to the annual fundraising and corporate sponsorship program for the HCI and assist with grant applications.
  • Ensure regulatory and policy compliance as it applies to the position.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2-3 years of professional or management experience in a related area.
  • Proven skills in written and oral communications, organization, project management, and event management.
  • High degree of organizational and administrative ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented work ethic.
  • Collaborative work style with a willingness to respond to an evolving set of priorities.
  • Strong technology skills.
