Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Data Entry Scheduler to join our team at Martin Concrete. This crucial role involves maintaining and updating our employee schedules, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our data management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to track vital employee information and schedules.
  • Transfer data from hard copies to digital databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout.
  • Update employee schedules and daily tasks as needed, verifying outdated data and implementing necessary changes.
  • Review and correct discrepancies in entered data, cross-referencing with other sources to ensure precision.
  • Meet all deadlines for data entry tasks consistently.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain open communication lines with colleagues to share updates on changes or issues during data entry processes.
  • Manage and update employee information in our database, guaranteeing that all data is accurate and current.
  • Monitor the database for errors and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Generate insightful reports based on entered data.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in data entry or a related field.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly MS Office (Excel) and database management systems.
  • Ability to type quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple team members.
  • People-oriented with the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Experience with ADP is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to identify and resolve data entry process issues promptly, escalating complex problems to the appropriate department.
  • Implement solutions to prevent recurrence of errors and enhance the efficiency of the data management system.
  • Organize and sort existing data in spreadsheets and ensure data protection through regular backups.
  • Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically.
  • Provide occasional administrative support and assist with data entry across departments on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Assist with special projects within the People Team.
