Document Control Admin Job Description

Join PrideStaff as a Document Control Admin for a machine shop located in Santa Ana, CA. This position reports to the Quality Supervisor and will need to meet ITAR regulations.

Job Summary:

The Document Control Admin is responsible for controlling the company's drawings/documents/records in accordance with company and customer requirements as noted in the quality management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all essential Document Control which includes but not limited to the creation, review, modification, issuance, distribution, and accessibility of the documents.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality or sensitive information.
  • Establish and/or maintain alphabetical or numerical filing system.
  • Ability to ensure that commitments to both internal and external customers are by following up on requests.
  • Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in a clerical position; or equivalent combination of education and experience from which work knowledge and abilities have been acquired.
  • Must be MS Office proficient – particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Operate office equipment such as printers, scanners, copier.
  • Working knowledge of English usage, grammar, punctuation, and formatting business documents.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement and initiative within scope of responsibilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to stand and walk.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • Steel toed shoes/boots required, as may need to go into the machine shop periodically.

Compensation:

$20.00 per hour
