Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Our enthusiasm lies in crafting and developing cutting-edge 3D printing solutions. The manufacturing division is tasked with the research and enhancement of production methodologies for all Formlabs offerings. This team collaborates closely with mechanical design, electrical, and materials departments.
If you are eager to assist in the creation and implementation of calibration instruments and assembly tools, we are looking for a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance current manufacturing processes to accommodate increased production volumes.
- Implement in-line or intermediate inspections to identify issues at earlier stages.
- Design and evaluate production workflows; establish processes, set performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to optimize their production capabilities.
- Engage with design engineers to ensure the integration of design modifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing engineering roles.
- Experience with international contract manufacturers or suppliers.
- Proven track record of successfully launching electro-mechanical products or projects within budget and on schedule.
- Proficient in assessing production line performance metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, etc.).
