Manufacturing Test Manager

You will have the opportunity to lead and oversee a team focused on all facets of factory software development and manufacturing testing, guiding our products from conception to mass production. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of skilled software and manufacturing engineers
  • Design and sustain manufacturing, engineering, and support testing tools for our product offerings
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish and implement manufacturing and calibration tests for electrical hardware and software
  • Create test plans and prototype setups for emerging technologies
  • Manage requirements and set expectations with cross-functional teams
  • Take ownership of the tools ecosystem that includes design, validation, documentation, and release
  • Utilize data science to derive insights from our production lines and relay those insights back to the operations team
  • Continuously enhance our development and deployment processes to optimize releases into our global factories
Candidate Profile:
  • Proficient in leading collaborative projects with other engineering teams
  • Dedicated to consistently delivering high-quality software
  • Able to work closely within a small team where personal interactions are vital for timely decisions and knowledge sharing
  • Possess a solid understanding of embedded, electrical, and mechanical engineering
  • Exhibit strong project management capabilities
  • Comfortable using the command line and ssh for development on Linux systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience collaborating with manufacturing teams on intricate products
  • Full stack web development skills, including Javascript/HTML, DevOps, Docker, and microservices
  • Familiarity with C or C++ programming on microcontrollers
