- Oversee a team of manufacturing engineering experts supporting global manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance teams.
- Manage production lines at contract manufacturers, ensuring seamless transitions to manufacturing and providing continuous support.
- Analyze process and product failures, perform root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions for new builds and refurbishments.
- Champion manufacturing process control, prevent issues, and deploy tools to enhance reliability, quality, and yield.
- Collaborate across various projects and programs to tackle complex engineering and operational challenges.
- Ensure technical readiness for manufacturing and industrialization, with a focus on producibility, cost-effectiveness, and process optimization.
- Supervise the transition into manufacturing, resolve inspection and assembly challenges, and guarantee mass production capacity and process capability.
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, industrial, or a related discipline).
- 3+ years of experience in engineering management or leadership roles.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering for electro-mechanical products.
- Expertise in production quality metrics, GD&T, and statistical analysis methodologies.
- Experience with high-precision product transitions to mass production and remote NPI management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and coordinate with global teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with product development processes such as Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT, and MP.
- Six Sigma Black/Green Belt certification and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling using On Shape or Solidworks.
