Job Summary

Envelop Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and selling Building Automation and HVAC solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business by selling recurring maintenance and testing agreements on HVAC equipment and building controls.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with clients and position Envelop Group as their preferred provider.
  • Help clients operate their facilities more efficiently by providing training and education on building automation and HVAC systems.
  • Evaluate existing facility systems and propose service agreements, maintenance programs, equipment upgrades, and other solutions to meet client needs.
  • Build opportunities from existing accounts and increase "pull through" opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in Salesforce, including service agreements, quoted services, and contracting proposals.
  • Attend trade shows and professional association meetings to connect with current and potential clients.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for renewal, equipment overhaul, or replacement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent training and experience in a similar field.
  • 2+ years of technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment.
  • Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, or building automation system knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong sales aptitude and previous sales experience are required.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills are essential.
  • Excellent technical skills and the ability to think creatively to support technical problem-solving are necessary.
  • Good cross-functional leadership and team working skills are required.
  • A competitive nature and a strong desire to win are essential.
  • Willingness to continue sales and engineering education is required.

Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for employer-based sponsorship currently or in the future.
