We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Client Experience team as a Client Experience Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading client engagement and project delivery for municipal clients throughout the North Carolina market.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain high-value relationships with existing municipal clients
  • Collaborate with project teams, key internal and external stakeholders, and support staff to ensure successful and client-focused project delivery
  • Create and implement client-specific engagement plans, journey mapping, and other initiatives to drive client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage client-specific account plans, sales and revenue projections, and feedback initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Develop and manage proposal efforts, business development strategies, and presentations to secure new business opportunities
  • Lead contract negotiations, including scope, fee, terms, and conditions, to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Coordinate with our Growth and Delivery teams to expand market share across targeted clients and regions
  • Lead select projects within your technical area(s) of expertise, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on project health, QA/QC procedures, and other key aspects of project management
  • Remain actively engaged in community and professional societies to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, with municipal experience (City/County Management, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • Professional Engineer, or ability to obtain registration within six months
  • 10+ years of engineering/industry experience with demonstrated team management experience
  • Proven experience in winning and managing municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, asset management, and planning projects in the North Carolina market
  • Public sector business development experience at local and regional levels
  • Existing relationships within the North Carolina municipal market
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Federal and State level funding agencies and programs
  • Ability to work flexible hours and attend events outside of normal working hours
  • Alternative delivery experience
