Regional Director of Supportive Housing Programs

The Regional Director of Supportive Housing Programs is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, and operation of supportive housing programs across various locations. This role requires a strong leader who can provide strategic direction, oversee program operations, and foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including funders, government agencies, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement program strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of supportive housing programs, including program delivery, budget management, and staff supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for program expansion and growth.
- Pursue new revenue sources and develop marketing strategies to promote program success.
- Maintain open lines of communication with funders, referring agencies, and community partners.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Supervise direct reports and provide ongoing feedback and evaluations.
- Develop and manage annual program budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Implement cost containment measures as needed to stay within budget parameters.
- Stay current in the field of supportive housing and related social services.
- Masters Degree (MBA or MPA) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in upper-level management, preferably in a supportive housing or social services setting.
- Supervisory experience leading case managers or program staff.
- Experience developing and managing large program budgets.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, including those with mental illness, homelessness, and substance abuse recovery.
- Public housing authority background or experience working with HUD contracts.
