Job Summary:

The Regional Director of Supportive Housing Programs is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, and evaluation of supportive housing programs across various locations. This role requires a strong leader who can provide oversight, guidance, and support to a team of professionals responsible for program delivery, data management, financial management, research, evaluation, and supervision.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement program strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to program staff, ensuring effective program delivery and high-quality services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including program funders, federal government agencies, and internal support departments, to ensure positive relationships and effective communication.
  • Identify opportunities for program expansion and growth, and develop strategies to pursue new revenue sources.
  • Develop and deliver marketing presentations to promote the success and reputation of the housing programs.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with funders, referring agencies, supportive services providers, client families, and community collaborations.
  • Ensure all customer concerns are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Supervise direct reports, including interviewing, hiring, training, and mentoring staff in best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor performance, document as necessary, and provide ongoing feedback and timely evaluations.
  • Develop staff for advancement and ensure continuity of program.
  • Prepare and manage annual program budgets, operating programs in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Implement cost containment as needed to stay within budget parameters.
  • Work with the grant writing team to submit contract and grant applications, and research funding opportunities.
  • Ensure grant deliverables are met, reported accurately, and on time.
  • Perform administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner, including routine communications, review and update of program policies and procedures, and periodic reports as required and requested.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, Business, or a similar discipline, preferred. Master's degree a plus.
  • Prefer 5+ years in an upper-level management position, with supervisory experience leading Case Managers.
  • Prefer 3+ years developing and managing million-dollar program budgets.
  • Prefer 3+ years' experience working with individuals with mental illness, homelessness, parenting issues, substance abuse recovery, and public housing authority background.
  • Prefer experience managing HUD supportive housing contracts, technical E-Snaps, Sage, HMIS, New Project, and Renewal Project submissions.
  • Prefer experience working with regional housing CoC's, regional or local governmental agencies managing HUD, ESG, CDBG, TCAC, etc.
