Job Overview: Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Compensation, the Head of Sales Compensation Strategy will oversee the formulation of sales compensation frameworks, ensuring that all structures are in harmony with organizational goals and promote the desired actions that yield positive business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales Compensation team in delivering exemplary sales compensation frameworks.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to create incentive compensation plans that align with key business outcomes aimed at fostering growth.
- Conduct thorough analytics on sales incentive compensation plans, evaluating their effectiveness and associated costs. Present findings to Sales Leadership.
- Oversee the creation and dissemination of plan documentation, calculators, and training resources for compensation program implementations.
- Engage in resolving escalated inquiries regarding incentive compensation plan structures and policies.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of Compensation Policies in partnership with Finance, Legal, HR, Sales Operations, and Client Services Management.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in designing and developing sales incentive compensation.
- Strong analytical skills, a problem-solving attitude, and exceptional project management capabilities.
- Experience in large, multifaceted organizations with diverse revenue streams or sales divisions.
- A proactive approach to challenging existing processes, always seeking enhancements in design effectiveness.
- Detail-oriented yet strategic, capable of diving into data while collaborating with leadership to address challenges and craft effective incentive compensation plans.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in analyzing situations, evaluating options, and resolving issues.
- Advanced time management skills, adept at managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
