Veterinary Client Support Specialist

Join our dedicated team at 24hrvetcenter, where we prioritize exceptional care for our patients and their families. As a vital member of our veterinary support team, you will engage closely with clients and their beloved pets, ensuring a seamless experience throughout their visit.

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage administrative tasks associated with veterinary services, interact with clients and (small animal) patients, process transactions, and assist our veterinary professionals and management team. You will work under the guidance of the veterinary practice manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Interaction: Employ effective communication skills to gather essential medical and personal information from clients.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle the sale of pet supplies and food, maintain an organized workspace, and demonstrate initiative in supporting team members.
  • Time Management: Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a calm demeanor.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess a solid understanding of office procedures, excellent telephone etiquette, and familiarity with veterinary terminology. You should be capable of performing clerical tasks accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions, and providing outstanding customer service to clients.

We value individuals who show a genuine commitment to fostering relationships with clients both during and outside of their visits.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience, with a range of $17 - $20 per hour.

Benefits: We offer a 401k plan with a 4% match, financial coaching, and a continuing education allowance.

Physical Requirements: The role may require lifting up to fifty pounds and performing various physical tasks, including sitting, standing, and using phones and computers regularly.
