JOB DESCRIPTION:

We invite you to join our team as an Ultrasound Support Specialist at VEG, where you will be instrumental in providing cutting-edge ultrasound services to our veterinary facilities. Your role will encompass performing immediate ultrasound scans for pets in urgent situations, facilitating educational initiatives, and enhancing ultrasound training throughout our network. Inspire your peers by motivating them to elevate their ultrasound expertise.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations and deliver training across multiple locations
  • Foster relationships with teleconsultation radiologists
  • Ensure that training materials meet VEG's high standards
  • Monitor team competencies using a certification checklist
  • Engage in program assessment activities
  • Contribute to discussions regarding program enhancements
  • Coordinate training schedules and protocols
  • Create educational resources
  • Provide demonstrations on ultrasound-related topics

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Full-time role with comprehensive benefits
  • Previous experience in a training capacity
  • More than 3 years of experience in veterinary ultrasound
  • Qualifications in veterinary technology or equivalent
  • Ability to mentor others and adapt to new settings
