Job Summary

PrideStaff is seeking a highly skilled CMM Specialist to join our team. As a CMM Specialist, you will be responsible for performing and completing part inspections to support the production department's needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Parts: Perform and complete part inspections to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Prioritize Daily Activities: Prioritize daily inspection activities to ensure efficient use of manufacturing and CMM machine time.
  • Maintain Equipment: Responsible for daily upkeep and condition of CMM equipment and accessories.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work with colleagues in the quality department to ensure production department's quality needs are met.
  • Report Issues: Report any damage or failure of machinery or equipment to the Quality Control Supervisor and CMM programmer.
  • Quality Improvements: Maintain and implement quality improvements as directed.
  • PPAP Requirements: Perform CMM requirements for PPAP as directed.
  • Shift Communication: Communicate any shift problems to the next operator.
  • Master Print File: Maintain the accuracy and availability of the quality department's master print file.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Ability to read and understand blueprints, geometric tolerance, and dimensioning. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Basic math skills including algebra, trigonometry, and statistics. Experience with problem-solving tools. Familiarity with ANSI and ISO/TS standards and compliance. Familiarity with English and Metric systems of measurement and the ability to perform conversions between the two. Familiarity with machining processes and machine shop practices.
  • Other: At least 18 years old and able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and/or drug screen.
