Your Role in Patient Care:

As a Therapeutic Specialist at Eating Recovery Center, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team that provides direct treatment, therapy sessions, and support to our patients, whether in-person at our centers or through our virtual behavioral health platform.

Your responsibilities will include conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions for diverse age groups, focusing on issues such as mood, anxiety, stress, and eating disorders.

As a Therapeutic Specialist, you will:

  • Facilitate psychotherapy sessions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Perform thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient.
  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations, including self-harm and suicide risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to create individualized treatment plans with specific, measurable goals.
  • Draft treatment agreements, support plans, or behavior plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation for each patient, including treatment plans, progress notes, wellness plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings to ensure coordinated care for all patients.

Qualifications for Therapeutic Specialist I:
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in counseling or a related field is required.
  • Must be registered as an associate or intern in accordance with state licensure requirements.
  • Experience in individual and family therapy is preferred.
