Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Call Center Manager to join our team at University Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, installation, billing, and maintenance of phones, overhead systems, and pagers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the coordination of telecommunications systems capabilities and prepare activity and progress reports.
  • Maintain knowledge and experience in Everbridge, ARC, and ECHO software systems.
  • Develop and administer sound policies, procedures, budgets, and multidisciplinary practices.
  • Create protocols and training on emergency call/dispatch and demonstrate competence in area of expertise.
  • Provide supervision and training for designated personnel.
  • Serve as a representative in departmental, hospital, and community task forces, committees, quality teams, and advisory groups as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree required, or high school diploma and progressively responsible experience in a related field.
  • Five years of experience as an operator on a multi-position switchboard and familiarity with radio paging systems required.
  • Two years of experience with network systems such as Avaya, Cisco, and overhead paging systems required.
  • Six months of experience with IDX patient census software preferred.
  • One year of experience with Windows Office preferred.
  • Six months of experience with MIR3 electronic notification system and/or a physician on-call system preferred.
