Job Title: Customer Service Specialist

Overview

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer calls and emails, resolving and escalating issues as appropriate, and providing feedback to customers when issues are resolved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer calls and emails, working to resolve and/or escalate issues as needed
  • Record calls and issues, and provide feedback to customers when issues are resolved
  • Escalate calls in accordance with department procedures
  • Work with supervisors and analysts to ensure processes are clearly defined and issues are prioritized and resolved
  • Assist supervisors and analysts with optimizing people, processes, and technology solutions that support inventory management

Requirements:

  • High School diploma
  • Experience working in materials distribution or logistics required; experience working in healthcare desired
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in Materials Distribution to include a minimum of 1 year in hospital materials distribution, inventory management or logistics
  • Specialized expertise in Materials Distribution and/or Logistics processes, methods, and skills related to inventory management and communication
  • Good interpersonal skills, verbal and written communications skills required
  • Ability to prioritize work, strong organizational skills, and initiative to improve processes
