Job Overview:

The Program Manager will:

  • Emphasize the human aspect of transformation, recognizing the effects of new operational processes, systems, and technologies on personnel.
  • Assist project teams in navigating our established procedures, tailoring and modifying solutions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams of business leaders and IT experts to offer guidance, formulate change management strategies, schedule initiatives, and execute action plans to guarantee employee engagement and utilization of new tools.
  • Mentor senior executives to empower them in their roles as change advocates.
  • Enhance benefit realization, value generation, return on investment, and the attainment of program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement change management methodologies and tools to devise a strategy that supports the adoption of changes necessitated by significant IT projects.
  • Craft, develop, and disseminate program-related communications to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify primary stakeholders and perform impact assessments.
  • Facilitate training initiatives by refining the training strategy, gathering documentation requirements, and aiding in the design and execution of training programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of change management as the program progresses.
  • Anticipate and manage resistance to change.
  • Consult with and coach project teams and leaders.
  • Create actionable deliverables for the communication and training plans.
  • Engage and support senior leadership.
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists within the organization and across related teams and roles.
  • Integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
  • Assess and ensure user readiness.
  • Assist in stakeholder management.
  • Define and track success metrics for adoption and monitor change progress.
  • Contribute to toolkits and other resources for change management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated success as a change manager for large-scale IT projects within a sizable organization.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the change process and how individuals navigate it.
  • Knowledge and experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to convey messages clearly to various audiences.
  • Excellent active listening capabilities.
  • Strong skills in team building and relationship management.
  • Capacity to influence others and drive towards a shared vision or objective.
  • Adaptable and flexible; capable of thriving in uncertain environments.
  • Resilient and determined with a strong sense of ownership and perseverance.
  • Proactive with a comprehensive approach.
